Kraken Diving offers a 12 week internship during which you will be working towards a PADI Divemaster certification. Ideally, the suitable candidate(s) will be certified as PADI Rescue Diver but we would certainly consider someone with less experience. 
By taking this first step with us at Kraken Diving you will get the best of tuition in a thoroughly professional and challenging environment. The course is designed to provide you with the experience needed so that you can act professionally in all diving circumstances. The curriculum for the PADI Divemaster course is performance based and therefore the length of time required to complete the program is based on your personal development, logistical considerations and student numbers.

Successful candidates will work with Kraken Diving for a period of at least 12 weeks, between July and the end of October. During this time you will be working as part of the team assisting the instructors.  There will be no charge, bar PADI materials and PADI certification costs,  for the Divemaster Internship course  or indeed for any other training we can provide for you - e.g. speciality courses, tech training etc. The cost of the course is simply offset in exchange for all the hard work over the 12 weeks of the internship.

During the course you will:

• Learn dive leadership through classroom and independent study sessions.

• Complete water skills and stamina exercises in confined and open water.

• Participate in training exercises to test organisational and problem solving abilities.

• Complete a series of practical training exercises.
